10.05 - Taden and into Dinan for lunch
Not the best parking space last night, definitely had a blood rush to the heads when sleeping! Despite being on a slant, it was free and peaceful!
Started out a beautiful sunny morning - and just continued. It’s because we’re going home tomorrow!
Tintin drove just over 2 hours (so should be there by now based on yesterday’s theory!) - and yes still at least 45 minutes drive to do for tomorrow before the ferry.
We couldn’t decide where to go, to be fair, we’ve stayed at most of the Park4night spaces relatively close to St Malo.
We’re at Taden, it’s just over a 2 mile cycle into Dinan from here alongside the Rance.
We were in time for lunch. My word it was busy! It is another holiday, or at least people have taken the day off in order to get 5 days off!
Tintin wanted moules frites. We waited for ages and ages at the restaurant on the quay. Maybe because we’re English, hopefully just because they were very busy.
I confess, I hate the sight and smell of shell fish - and there was lots around me. I had nice tasting madame poulet (in joke with children!) with chips and salad - plus wine was €42.
On a positive note, it means no cooking tonight - just as well it’s 27° outside, and says it’s 35° inside Dave!
We went for a walk up the steep cobbled street and around the town. Just too busy! We have previous pictures of ourselves which come up on our photo frame - with absolutely no one else around.
We actually have another Mobilvetta parked next to us - quite rare to even see them! We’ve gone some days without even seeing any other mohos - today they’re swarming!
Looking forward to being back home tomorrow 😊
