Whereas we had a lovely day yesterday, today can only be described as frustrating this morning - best laid plans scuppered! We’d knowingly given Rimini (population c.148,000) a miss. Basically Pesaro on speed! Has 10 miles of beaches, a strip of hotels, arcades, shops, restaurants and clubs.

We had yet another peaceful night - either we’re getting better at choosing good places to park (we spend long enough!), or there is no nightlife at the end of October! Me driving today - the ETA was for 3 hours, but only took 2-1/2 hours - bonus!

Not sure what happened, but we both slept in until about 8am today! Had a slow start! The van alarm went off when Tintin lit the gas to make a cup of tea (needs investigation, as it’s happened before!) - disrupted his routine - so forgot to put the
