Spent an hour at the Tyne Cot cemetery and then onto the memorial for the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry at Les Rue Vertes, Masnières. Spending the night at an aire close by at Marcoing.

Ypres, Belgium 17 April 2019
We were up a the crack of dawn, literally to get the 0825 ferry at Dover. We arrived so early they let us on the 0725! Straight forward drive to Ypres, although bumpy at times with concrete roads. Visited the Menin Gate and the WW1 museum.
Canterbury 16 April 2019
Drove on many motorways to get to Canterbury about lunchtime. Park and ride into Canterbury, walk around shops and tourist sights.
Bakers Arms, Poole, Dorset 15 April 2019
Left Jamie & Bel this morning, fuel and shop in Sainsbury and then about 4 hour drive to Poole.

Friday, trip into Truro. Saturday all about walking.

Jamie had an interview close to St Ives so were dropped there to have a walk in the spring sunshine.
